Himalayan Salt Band is a Miami-based instrumental Psychedelic Jazz-Funk collective that emerged from the diverse, vibrant musical community of Miami Beach. During their formative years, they quietly had jam sessions together, which led to the band’s official formation in 2021. The creation of their self-titled EP came to fruition from these sessions and was released to all streaming platforms the same year.

Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of genres, Himalayan Salt Band weaves together elements of Prog Rock, Funk, Contemporary Jazz, and World Music. Each member brings their distinct cultural background, infusing the band's sound with rich and diverse influences.

Hailing from Venezuela, Isidro Anzola (Lead Member) ignites the stage with his mesmerizing guitar work, pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic territories using various sound effects and advanced rhythmic and melodic techniques. 

Mauricio Hernandez, our Argentinian bass player, provides a solid foundation with his infectious grooves, adding depth and rhythm to the band's magnetic soundscapes. 

Aidan Finn, a seasoned guitar player with over a decade of professional jazz experience, adds a touch of virtuosity to the band's sonic tapestry. His mastery of the instrument shines through his intricate improvisations and complex melodies, infusing the music with unparalleled depth and sophistication.

Harry Schwartz, a seasoned drummer who has traversed various musical landscapes since his early teens, provides the heartbeat of Himalayan Salt Band's rhythm section. With impeccable timing, dynamic grooves, and a keen sense of musicality, Schwartz creates a powerful foundation that drives the band's sonic explorations forward.

The band has been honored to perform at renowned venues such as The Miami Beach Bandshell, a celebrated destination for live music in Miami. In addition to their notable appearances at The Miami Beach Bandshell, the band has also performed at prestigious local South Florida music festivals like Wet Mango Fest and the Youth Music Festival.

Together, Himalayan Salt Band creates a kaleidoscopic fusion of instrumental melodies, transporting listeners on a sonic journey that transcends boundaries and defies convention. With their virtuosic performances and innovative musicality, this dynamic ensemble is poised to leave an indeniable mark on Modern Jazz-Fusion.
